The Director's responsibilities:
Overall leadership and management of LabforCulture
Based on the established LabforCulture profile, ensure the further development as the online reference point for all those engaged in European Cultural Cooperation across the broader Europe (in close collaboration with Editors in Chief and Team)
Ensure effective cooperation with existing Stakeholders and Partners, and widen the partner base in order to reach out to new audiences
Closely collaborate with existing funders, financial and political lobbying, and further develop the fundraising strategy to ensure sustainability
In collaboration with the Steering Committee, work towards a sustainable organisational model after the pilot phase, as of 2008
Ensure the successful communication of LabforCulture
Represent LabforCulture on internal and external occasions
Manage a team of 5 staff members and 15 freelancers in a remote network
