The European Cultural Foundation (ECF) would like to invite a student (the applicant must be a registered student throughout the course of the internship), preferably with a background in studies of an international character and culture, to join our team as an intern for three days a week for a minimum of 6 months and a maximum of 9 months, starting in September 2007. The intern, will be involved in helping to develop and implement the ECF mobility fund known as STEP beyond. The fund has been in operation since February 2003 and forms part of our Support for Cultural Cooperation unit ay the ECF. The goal of the mobility fund is to encourage cross-border cultural cooperation between all European countries, including those that are not (or not yet) members of the European Union. It covers travel and accommodation costs for European artists and cultural operators, and for journalists, translators and researchers working in the cultural field.
