With Equalities a priority policy area for the Scottish Arts Council (SAC) as we move towards Creative Scotland (anticipated in April 2009) SAC wants to ensure that its policies, plans and activities reflect the needs and aspirations of Scotland’s diverse population.
As Head of Equalities you will lead on the development, implementation and integration of SAC's Equalities policies, relating to the arts in Scotland. Current policy areas include arts & disability, cultural diversity, and arts & health.
As an experienced manager, you will be passionate about the arts in Scotland and have a detailed knowledge and experience of Equalities issues and compliance.
