Artists, multimedia artists, IT practitioners, and students have attended the 3-day seminar 'Protecting Creative Artistic Expression in the Digital Environment' from January 10,11 and 12, 2008, at the NCCA Auditorium, Intramuros, Manila. The event highlighted technological tools currently available to artists in the country, copyright issues online, intellectual property rights, internet presence and legal safeguards, among others.
The seminar was organized by Alab Artistika, Earthlinks Multimedia Corporation and the National Commission for Culture and the Arts (NCCA).
