The Programmes Team is responsible for the effective and efficient management and delivery of development programmes, initiatives and project funding for the arts sector. The primary function of this role is to provide overall management of advice and services relating to specific programme delivery and development services.
The Senior Programme Adviser will have a portfolio responsibility for a specific area of arts development and will work closely with the Arts Development Strategy team and other teams in Creative New Zealand. A background in literature would be an advantage.
The successful applicant will have arts programme management and evaluation experience, highly developed skills in project management, and relationship and stakeholder management. The successful applicant will also have staff and facilities management experience.
