As Deputy Director, you will formulate government policies and strategic plans to guide and support the development of the Creative Industries for long term competitiveness, thereby contributing to MICA's strategic outcome of 'A Vibrant and Sustainable Creative Cluster', and the mission of 'Propelling a Creative Economy'. You will also lead the investigation and formulation of development policies and strategic planning in specific industry development domains (such as sectoral policies development, economic target setting, manpower and capability development, international relationship, global market development).

Job Requirements:
a) Good university degree, preferably in Creative Industries related field of studies, Political Science, Economics, Law, Business Management or Engineering. A master degree in the relevant field will be an advantage.
b) At least 8 years of relevant experience in the field of creative industries (arts and culture, media, design), strategic management or policy development. Experience in media sector will be an advantage.
c) Good written and spoken language skills.
d) Good track record of people management experiences and skills.
e) Institutional research experience is an advantage.
