The Policy Officer will have a key role in the development and delivery of the Arts Council’s artform policies. He/she will work alongside the Council’s research team, liaising with Arts Development officers on relevant artform policies. He/she will analyse research projects to see how they might contribute to the formulation of evidence based arts policies in the delivery of the Council’s business strategy and plans.
The Policy Officer will work with the Council’s research team translating research output into evidence based arts policies, and scan the wider arts environment, advising on research needs, liaising with Arts Development Officers on relevant artform policies, and developing policy proposals for the arts.
