UNESCO is undertaking an evaluation of the World Observatory on the Social Status of the Artist through an online survey (in English, French and Spanish). Responses due by 20 May 2008.

The aims of the evaluation are to:
- assess how the site is used by artists and organizations representing them
- enable the Observatory’s visitors to send their feedback
- improve the website to better meet their needs
- promote the Observatory and the Recommendation concerning the Status of the Artist (1980, UNESCO)
