Managing the strategic development and implementation of the Arts Council’s national engagement campaign, an ambitious new initiative to achieve an increase in arts participation and engagement in England.
Role
• To project manage the strategic development and implementation of the Arts Council’s national engagement campaign: an ambitious new initiative to achieve an increase in arts participation and engagement in England
• To initiate and develop strategic partnerships to deliver the campaign, including with broadcast, media, commercial and government bodies, as well as across the arts sector.
• To work with artists and arts organisations to deliver high profile and high quality arts activity to put at the heart of the campaign, including arts events, artists and ambassadors.
• To commission and work with external agencies to deliver a range of services including: high profile brand properties, through the line creative campaign, events, advertising and media plans, audience research, and an interactive multi-media website.
• To lead on internal partnership management with the Arts Council England regional offices, building advocacy and strategic partnerships, and identifying and working with partners to deliver large-scale regional public engagement initiatives to fit the overall campaign.
• To negotiate and manage business deals with partners, including costs, revenue, payments in kind, and rights.
• To project manage the campaign, ensuring nationwide co-ordination of timing under the campaign brand property, and that work is completed within budget.
• To identify, track, manage and resolve any project issues and to identify and mitigate project risk.
• To implement effective concept testing, monitoring and evaluation measures.
• To take a hands-on and self-sufficient approach to all aspects of the project management.
• To line manage the Project Coordinator.
