Hungarian Minister of Education and Culture Istvan Hiller held talks with Linda Fabiani, Scottish Minister of Culture, Foreign and European Affairs on bilateral cultural cooperation and preparations for the forthcoming 250th birth anniversary of Robert Burns in Edinburgh on Friday.
 
Hiller arrived in Scotland to open HIArt Festival, a two-month long series of Hungarian cultural events in Glasgow and Edinburgh, on Friday.
 
The programme will feature exhibitions, concerts, master's courses and film screenings.
 
The two ministers discussed plans on exchange programmes and closer cooperation between the Edinburgh Festival and the Budapest Spring Festival.
