Primarily the role of the post will be to give professional input to the planning and establishment of 15 performing arts venues of various sizes serving different art forms (developed over two phases) and large areas of open space. Candidates should possess at least –

• a recognized university degree relevant to performing arts, arts and cultural studies, art education or other related fields;
• 10 years’ full-time working experience in the performing arts field including planning, design and operation of performing arts venues, of which 5 years should be in a senior position;
• good knowledge of and good international networking with performing artists, arts groups, presenters of performing arts programmes and performing arts venues;
• strong interpersonal, communication and negotiation skills;
• good command of English, both written and oral; and
• strong leadership and good organizational and management skills.
