IFACCA attends Seminar on Creativity and Innovation in Cultural Cooperation Projects

Diane Dodd, IFACCA's European liaison officer, attended the seminar on creativity and innovation in cultural co-operation projects, organised by the University of Barcelona, the European Network of Cultural Administration Training Centres (ENCATC) and Interarts on Monday 26 January, in Barcelona.

The seminar focussed on the importance of creativity and innovation in cultural cooperation projects and current challenges in this field. Participants addressed issues such as the integration of cultural aspects in the existing  definitions of 'creativity' and 'innovation', opportunities and limitations in current EU programmes in this field and the importance of creativity and innovation in cultural cooperation.

The event was supported by the European Commission, the European Parliament, the Government of Catalonia, the European Institute of the Mediterranean (IEMed) and the ALDE Group (Alliance of Liberals and Democrats for Europe) of the European Parliament.
