During the meeting of Minsters of Culture of Latin America and the Carribbean, which began yesterday in Buenos Aires, the majority of the 30 representatives of the region analysed the paper on culture in a situation of global crisis. During the first day of discussion, they agreed on the necessity of strengthening cultural actions and the diversity of sides to the financial/economic crisis, and the apply culture to combat poverty and social inequalities.
