Education and Outreach Manager (7 month)

The third edition of National Arts Council’s Singapore Art Show will take place at 40 locations across the island from 19 Aug – 30 Sept 2009. The working team is seeking suitably experienced candidates from Apr to Oct 2009.
You will devise and implement structured engagement programmes in consultation with programme partners, artists and curators. Work areas include management of Art Volunteer programme such as guided tours and activities for key Art Show programmes, and project management support for other Art Show programmes. You may be required to work on-site some weekends.
Successful applicants will have the opportunity to work very closely with programme and event marketing partners, as well as curators, artists, arts groups, arts businesses and other industry professionals.
Requirements:
A good degree
Relevant experience in education & outreach, exhibition management or marketing & partnership development
Enjoy working with creative ideas, creative personalities and people from all walks of life
Preference will be given to candidates with an understanding and appreciation of visual arts.
