The Ministry of Culture recently signing an agreement with the Organization of Iberoamerican States for Education, Science and Culture (OEI), whose main objective is to "combine efforts to plan for cultural cooperation."
The agreement was signed between the Secretary for Culture Jose Rafael Lantigua, and the Secretary General of the OEI, Alvaro Marchesi Ullastres in the presence of officials from both agencies.
The plan for cultural cooperation, said the agreement, must "respond to the needs, interests and priorities, identified and taken jointly," for which the SEC and the OEI are committed to working collaboratively on the implementation of substantive activities, projects and programs to promote culture in the Dominican Republic. "
