The University of Girona, through its UNESCO Chair on Cultural Policy and Cooperation, and the Documenta Universitaria publishing house, have recently presented a new book related to cultural policy and cultural management and the role of culture in development strategies.
Gemma Carbó Ribugent has coordinated a volume entitled La cultura, estrategia de cooperación al desarrollo, which collects the proceedings of an international seminar held in November 2007, with contributions by Arturo Escobar, Lucina Jiménez, Gonzalo Carámbula, César Gilabert, Teixeira Coelho, Trevor Davies, Tulio Hernández, Alfons Martinell and Jesús Prieto de Pedro.
