Information Officer

As the Government's communications professionals, Information Officers are involved in a range of public communications and information management work, such as research in the public communications aspects of new media, events management, corporate communications, information policy development, crisis communications, media analysis, professional training and national marketing. You play a key role in being part of the Information Service Network to enhance the Whole of Government public communications. Your work helps the Government communicate policies to the public and wider global community in an increasingly challenging communications environment.
 
Successful candidates will have the opportunity to be posted to a variety of information management positions within government. This could include postings to a government ministry or agency to head or serve in its corporate communications department. 
 
Job Requirements :  
- A good university degree, preferably in communications
- At least 2 years of experience in public relations, journalism or related fields
- Possess good interpersonal, writing and research skills, and good project handling capability
- A keen interest in public communications, new media, and current affairs
- Possess social and political sensitivities, and leadership qualities
