Books to be transferred for children in remote areas

The southern Binh Thuan provincial museum has transferred over 600 books to remote areas for children and poor students to read during the summer.

The provincial library compiled lists of books to send to schools; supplemented an additional 4,000 books to serve readers during summer 2009; and enlarge reading rooms for children.

In addition, diverse activities such as film screening and child painting exhibition will take place.

The library now has 130,488 books, 400 newspapers and magazines, and nearly 600CD-ROM documents to serve readers during all days of the week. The library has 10 braches in districts and cities.
