British Arts Council supports NLPVF event with 35,000 euros

The British Arts Council in London, is supporting a promotional campaign in England for Dutch literature. This is the first time that an English institution contributes on this scale to the promotion of Dutch literature.

The campaign to promote Dutch literature in England will take place from August 2009 to June 2010. During that period, a number of important Dutch writers will visit English literary venues, reading clubs, libraries and literary festivals. It will also focus on the work of the translators and the exceptional quality of their work.
