For the first time in Ireland, performing arts venues all around the country have decided to take action, joining forces to promote the performing arts in Ireland. Take Your Seat is the name of a nationwide promotion aimed at encouraging people to attend performance art venues all around the country.

The Take Your Seat promotion, which is active from 9-14 November, is built around a dedicated website, www.takeyourseat.ie, providing you - the consumer - with a one-stop-shop of exciting, live performances happening in venues nationwide. 

From today the website will offer you a great range of discounts, including free tickets and discount offers to shows around the country. Browse around and see what’s on that week - register and get your code - book with the venue, and follow the simple instructions to claim your discount for your next show.

This initiative is a partnership project involving thirty one theatres, arts centres and music venues around the country and is being co-ordinated by Arts Audiences, with the support of the Arts Council, Temple Bar Cultural Trust, Fáilte Ireland, and RTÉ Radio.
