The Fourth Regular Meeting of the CIC will be held at OAS headquarters in Washington, D.C., on November 12 and 13, 2009.
 
During the meeting, the accomplishments of the Inter-American Committee on Culture (CIC) Work Plan 2007-2009 will be analyzed, the CIC Work Plan for the period 2010-2011 will be to considered for approval, the strategy to implement “2011: the Inter-American Year of Culture” will be discussed, and members’ input will be sought on the project: “Culture in Development: an Inter-American Information Network.”  In addition, at this meeting, the CIC will elect its authorities for the 2009-2011 period and discuss the preparatory process for the 5th Meeting of Ministers of Culture, to be held in 2010.
