Share your perspectives on Creative Scotland

We are delighted with the response to perspectives and excited about the breadth and quality of the debates that have been generated.  Over the last two months, Creative Scotland’s online discussion forum has seen ideas around the creative practitioner, accessibility, participation and International discussed, contrasted, compared and challenged.

Stockholm International Film Festival Director Git Scheynius provokes discussion on the ‘International’ theme with a piece titled “Time for Quality Film to Go Global’.  This piece has stimulated discussion around exploring art and culture to reflect on our own place and Scotland’s place in the world.  Why not read Git’s thoughts and join the continuing conversation.

Whilst we are approach the end of the first phase of the perspectives we are still keen to continue the discussion.  Richard Smith, implementation Director for Creative Scotland is looking for your views on the high level ambitions, ideas and innovations that will help to characterize Creative Scotland.  The commitment is to share both the ideas and issues raised through perspectives with the new Chairman, Board and CEO of Creative Scotland next year. Please follow link to continue the conversation on Creative Scotland.

The next phase of the perspectives conversation will also include face to face discussions in the early part of 2010.  Please use this unique opportunity to shape the ambitions and future strategies of Creative Scotland.
