Mercosur cultural’s technical meeting will take place on March 16 and 17 at the Miguel Cané Room of the Secretaría de Cultura de la Nación and will be coordinated by Mónica Guariglio, National Director of Cultural Policy and International Cooperation.
On Tuesday 16 Mercosur Cultural’s interdisciplinary meeting will take place which will deal with customs procedures and the homogenization and internationalzation of regulations in relation to the ‘Mercosur Cultural’ Seal, to the circulation and commercialization of artworks, to the commercialization of audiovisual production, and to the commercialization of books.
Later, audiovisual policy in Mercosur and progress made by Mercosur’s consulting body in the audiovisual and film areas will be discussed. This consulting body is made up of the highest governmental national authorities in the circulation and commercialization of audiovisual production (RECAM).
On Wednesday 17, the technical meeting on cultural industries will take place. It will deal with: circulation and commercialization of books; digital book platforms, reading promotion plans, and the Argentinean Book National Institute. Rodolfo Hamawi, Cultural Industries National Director, will also take part in this meeting.
