The 2nd International Conference on African Culture and Development ICACD 2009 celebrated African cultures - ICACD 2009 debated African culture - ICACD 2009 discussed African culture and identity in a global context as well as from an immediate and at times, very personal perspective.
Problems were identified and solutions proffered. Definitions were constructed, de-constructed and re-constructed. Questions were asked and many were answered and many were deferrede and referred to another place or another time. Arguments were had and alliances forged.
