Call for Proposal - consultant analyst for the 2005 Convention in ASEAN countries

The Culture Unit of UNESCO Bangkok requires a research consultant to undertake a study on the implementation of the UNESCO 2005 Convention on the Protection and Promotion of the Diversity of Cultural Expression in the Asia Pacific region between July and November 2011.

The project aims to identify the main issues and challenges to ratification in this region, in particular that of member countries of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN). Additionally, the project will highlight noteworthy examples by governments and civil society around creative economy or cultural industries, to contribute to a broader effort to foster regional implementation.
