You will be responsible for the formulation of strategies, and implementation of programmes to advance Singapore’s music scene. This include implementing a range of funding tools (eg major grants, general grants, scholarship and bursaries, awards etc), processing and assessing grant applications for funding; keeping abreast of current arts trends and industry developments; planning programmes and initiatives to address issues that affect the industry; working closely with stakeholders to facilitate, design and anchor strategic programmes that would grow the music scene; developing and promoting our local artists in Singapore and abroad and to advance the music art form.
Requirements
- Good degree with at least 5 years of relevant working experience
- Good knowledge and understanding of music
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong analytical and reasoning skills; ability to assess proposals, analyse issues, formulate arguments and draw conclusions
- Creative and passionate about the arts
- Good team player
