Assistant Director (Strategic Planning)

You will undertake strategic planning for the Council, with a focus on leading the Council’s research and statistics function and knowledge management strategies.  This role will require you to lead a team looking into the Council’s research projects, as well as data collection and analysis of statistics reflecting the arts and cultural sectors’ constituents, activities and wider social and economic impact.  It will also require you to work closely with internal and external partners, to identify and analyse trends and developments, and to plan effectively for the sectors’ infrastructural, capability and other resource needs. 

Requirements

• Good degree with at least 5 years of working experience in a supervisory role
• Experience in strategic planning and/ or research related role
• Strong analytical and critical thinking skills
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Creative and passionate about the arts
• Good team spirit and strong customer orientation
