Informador,
02 May 2012, Mexico

Conaculta’s site gathers a wide selection of news on books, magazines and literary novelties, as well as a section dedicated to cinema and audiovisual arts and a secton on perfoming arts.

Columns, chronicles and interviews prepared by Conaculta on the various cultural activities that take place in Mexico, as well as images of artistic performances.

Videos that had until now been available only on social networks and that now make part of the multimedia section of the site can be enjoyed.

At noticias.conaculta.gob.mx sound files are also at anyone’s disposal, like an interview of President Porfirio Díaz with the researcher and inventor Thomas Alva Edison (1847-1931) that was made in Castillo de Chapultepec on 1909.

It is also possible to read the most seen news during the day, press rooms of other institutions like Cineteca Nacional (Film Archive), Instituto Nacional de Antropología e Historia (National Institute of Anthropology and History, INAH), and Radio Educación, just to name some of them, and to find a direct link to Conaculta’s social networks.

Another interesting section is “Sentence of the day” where famous thoughts of international scientists or artists can be found as well as recommended places where you can enjoy high quality artistic performances.
