Panama and Russia signed a cultural agreement that will make it possible for artists and artistic organizations to exchange their artistic knowledge and experience. It will also enable cooperation on the field of heritage sites restoration, according to Panama’s National Culture Institute (INAC).

Russia’s Viceminister of Culture, Pavel Joroshilov, and INAC’s General Director, María Eugenia Herrera de Victoria, signed the MOU on cultural cooperation in Panama during an official function where other delegates from both countries were also present.

INAC pointed out that this agreement is a frame of reference that will “boost cooperation” through “the exchange of musical, theatre, ballet, folk and artistic organizations” as well as “in the fields of visual arts, protection and restoration of heritage sites, museums, and libraries, among others”.
