A meeting with the participation of members of the government, officials of the culture sphere, representatives of creative intelligentsia, and teachers of core higher educational establishments and workers of the cultural and educative institutions was held at Ministry of Culture of Turkmenistan.
The issues of preparation for VII Forum of creative and scientific workers of the CIS member countries to be held on October 15-16, 2012 in Ashgabat became one of the key topics of the meeting. It is aimed at further development and strengthening of the friendly ties with the neighboring countries, stirring up the humanitarian partnership in the Commonwealth and creation of efficient mechanisms of fruitful interaction.
In this context, a complex of issues of substantial enrichment of the international forum and its organizational aspects was considered at the meeting with a view of successful holding of all events outlined in the conference program at the high organizational level in the light of instructions of the Leader of nation. In particular, within the framework of opening of the forum, it is planned the awarding of the annual prize “Commonwealth of débuts” established by the Council for humanitarian cooperation of the CIS member countries and Interstate Fund for humanitarian cooperation with a view of support of young creative workers and researchers. Taking into account that the year of 2012 was announced as the year of sports and healthy life-style, young specialists of these spheres will be nominated in the Commonwealth for this prize.
At the sectional meetings of the forum, it is planned to consider such topics as strategy of development of humanitarian cooperation of the CIS countries, announcement of 2013 as the year of ecological culture and environment in the CIS, development of information space, youth cooperation in science and innovations, etc. Agenda of the forum also included the discussion of experience of Turkmenistan in organization of the international humanitarian events. Certain section will be devoted to the National Tourist Zone “Avaza” as cultural and innovative center of the Commonwealth. A large cultural program is prepared for all participants.
In the course of the meeting, it was also held a detailed talk about preparation for conduction of Week of culture in the Balkan province in June 2013. Within its framework, it is planned to hold creative contests, exhibitions, conferences, folk performances etc., as well as a gala concert with the participation of well-known foreign artists.
