VII CIS Forum of Creative and Scientific Intelligentsia held in Ashgabat

The VII CIS Forum of Creative and Scientific Intelligentsia organized within the framework of the presidency of Turkmenistan over the Commonwealth of Independent States (CIS) was held in October of this year, in Ashgabat. The forum brought together numerous delegates including prominent politicians, workers of culture and art, scientists, heads of intergovernmental structures, international and public organisations in the Turkmen capital.

As was reported, after the plenary session, the work of the VII CIS Forum of Creative and Scientific Intelligentsia continued in seven core sections, where the forum participants had an opportunity to discuss the issues related to development of the humanitarian potential, the diversity of national cultures, material and spiritual heritage in modern conditions, establishment of multichannel data communication, etc.

Within the framework of the cultural programme the forum participants saw the sights of the Turkmen capital and visited the cultural institutions in Ashgabat. Participants of the section “Avaza is a cultural and educational centre of the CIS member states” visited Turkmenbashi, where they could see the infrastructure of the National tourist zone created on the Caspian coast.

Summing up the VII CIS Forum of Creative and Scientific Intelligentsia a Resolution was adopted.
