At the Ministry of Culture of Turkmenistan, it was held a meeting with the Director of the Program of History of the Asian Culture of the Smithsonian Institution (United States of America) Dr Paul Tailor arrived on a visit to the Turkmen capital.

In the course of the talk, it was discussed the issues of expansion of the bilateral interaction in the cultural-humanitarian sphere, particularly, in the field of experience exchange on theory and methodology of museum studies and works with the monuments of history.

As it was noted, more and more foreign scientific centers show increasing interest in Turkmenistan, where they see greater prospects in conduction of researches connected with deep study of the cultural heritage of the Turkmen people, who played significant role in development of worldwide civilization.

Within the framework of the visit of Dr Paul Tailor, it is planned to visit a series of large museums of Turkmenistan.
