The Ministry of Culture, Arts and Heritage is waiting for the new organizational structure, which will be issued soon to determine the mechanism of action in the Ministry. According to authorized resources, Qatar Museums Authority will be affiliated to the Ministry of Culture, whereas, Youth Activities and Events department as well as Youth Centers Department will subordinate to the Ministry of Youth and Sport.

There are rumors that there is an intention to affiliate the Cultural Village “Katara” to the Ministry of Culture, but until this moment, nothing is sure. Concerning Qatar Heritage and Identity Center, which is related to the Cultural Village “Katara", it was not yet decided whether it will be affiliated to the Ministry or will remain within the jurisdiction of the Cultural Village.

HE Dr. Hamad Bin Abdulaziz Al-Kuwari, Minister of Culture, Arts and Heritage will endeavor to implement the directives of HH Sheikh Tamim Bin Hamad Al Thani, Emir of Qatar, who  put the interests of Qatar and the Qatari people at the top of his priorities. It is worth mentioning that the directors of the different department in the Ministry are getting ready to start working within the framework of the ministry’s new structure.
