His Highness Shaikh Mohammed bin Mubarak Al Khalifa, patronizes the award distribution ceremony for the Arab e-Content Award2013 and the Bahrain e-Content Award 2013 for the third time consecutively and honours the winners with both awards on Tuesday.

Launched in 2005 and hosted in the Kingdom since 2009, the event is organized by the Bahrain Internet Society (BIS) in cooperation with the E-Government Authority, the World Summit Award (WSA) and the Bahrain Association of IT Companies, the Arab E-Content Award aims to encourage creativity and consolidate inter-Arab cooperation. All contributions of participants have been assessed by a panel of neutral arbitrators who name the winners in accordance with the standards of the United Nations-affiliated World Summit Award (WSA).

The two awards are major steps, an integrative link with the World Summit Award and Bahrain's ultimate goal to attain the international level, enrich the Arab e-Content and place Bahrain on the world-map of e-content. (IY)
