THe BESC will be presented on 13 November at the National Museum of Colombia. BESC is a model of the stakeholders in the cultural sector for cultural management and development around the country.
In 2014the Department of Regional Development and the National program for the Ministry of Culture,have been working on the creation and operation of the first phase of the Bank of Significant Experiences in Culture,BESC, which seeks to identify practical references that can be used as guidelines for different cultural agents, make visible the interlectual capital in the sector as well as foster cultural experiences that contribute to sustainable development.
An experience is considered significant when a set of actions respond in a creative way to a specific problem, so that it becomes a benchmark for other institutions or organizations in similaror different contexts.This phase of the bank includes 45experiences, which will be documented and disseminated widely through a virtual tool linkedto the websiteof the Ministryof Culture through four sections: selectionand evaluation;visibility, knowledge managementand circulation.
