Guyana has a vault of over 1200 artistic masterpieces. That entire national collection cannot be displayed at once because of the space constraints at the National Art Gallery. In an effort to bring the collection to the Guyanese public a decision was taken in 2014 to publish a series of books containing images of the national art collection. This task was undertaken by the Ministry of Culture, Youth and Sport and the Guyana Telephone and Telegraph Company (GTT).
