The National Skills Development Programme for 2015/16 has been launched. The NSDP provides a broad range of training opportunities for the Scottish museum sector under one overarching programme throughout the year. The courses are in line with the aims of the National Strategy and have been designed to help museums develop new skills and practices.
Following the success of courses offered in conjunction with Resourcing Scotland's Heritage, many more courses have been created this year in partnership: including ICON, Historic Scotland and the University of St Andrews. The new programme will also feature more progression courses, providing courses at more advanced levels for those who wish to deepen their understanding of the subject.
