UNESCO Prepares Ethical Code of Intangible Cultural Heritage

The Intergovernmental Committee of the United Nations Convention for the Safeguarding of the Intangible Cultural Heritage opened today in Valencia, Spain, a meeting seeking to pass a code of ethics to ensure its protection.

 

The meeting, concluding on April 1, was opened at the Palau des Arts Reina Sofia by Director General of UNESCO Irina Bokova and Spanish Foreign Minister Jose Garcia-Margallo, with the participation of 12 experts.
