The Cultural Week Malaysia Paris Programme will be held for the first time in France from April 13-17 as a prime strategy to increase Malaysia’s chances of competing for the Unesco board chairman position for the 2015-2019 term.
In a statement today, the Tourism and Culture Ministry said both events of the Cultural Week Malaysian Paris programme on April 13 and Intangible Cultural Heritage exhibition on April 14 will be inaugurated by Deputy Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin.
The programme aims to boost the efforts to elevate and highlight the Malaysian heritage and a total of 80 delegates are deemed to participate in this event including heritage exhibition, cultural performances, promotion and sales of products and event management.
