Malaysia and the UNESCO Cooperation Fund have approved a total of 17 projects worth more than US$5 million over a period of two years. Deputy Prime Minister Tan Sri Muhyiddin Yassin said the 17 projects focus are on Small Island Developing States, Least Developed Countries, Africa and South-South Cooperation.
