The central theme of the meeting is the design, implementation and evaluation of national cultural policies.

Argentina participated from 16 to 18 April in Madrid in the Meeting of the Working Group for the Development of Institutional and Regulatory Framework of the Ibero-American Cultural Space (ECI), held at the headquarters of the Secretaría General Iberoamericana (SEGIB)..

The working group is also integrated by Chile, Costa Rica, Spain, Mexico and Uruguay, together with the SEGIB and the Organization of Ibero-American States (OEI). The activity progresses in line with the Ibero-American Conference of Ministers and High Authorities of Culture and the Ibero-American Summit of Heads of State and Government.
En representación del país, la directora nacional de Política Cultural y Cooperación Internacional, Mónica Guariglio, presentó en la reunión el nuevo organigrama del Ministerio de Cultura de la Nación y detalló las políticas prioritarias del área que conduce.
The central theme is the design, implementation and evaluation of national cultural policies, and their connection and influence on Ibero-American cooperation towards the strengthening of the cultural space in the region.

The representatives of the countries also discussed financing systems, the digital agenda, and the creative and artistic cultural mobility programs in Latin America.

Representing Argentina in the meeting was the national director of Cultural Policy and International Cooperation, Monica Guariglio who presented the new organizational structure of the Ministry of Culture and explained the main policy priorities in the field.
