Bulgarian Minister of Culture Vezhdi Rashidov and Italian Minister of Cultural Heritage and Activities and Tourism Dario Franceschini will ink a Memorandum of Understanding between the two ministries at a meeting in the Bulgarian capital city Sofia, the press office of the Bulgarian ministry announced.
The document aims at prevention of theft, illegal excavations and illegal import/export and shifting of the right of ownership on movable cultural assets, as well as at encouraging their return.
