Cultural groups from Argentina, Brazil and Uruguay agreed over the weekend to join forces to get UNESCO to recognize the gaucho as part of the worlds Intangible Cultural Heritage, International Gaucha Tradition Confederation, or CITG, president Manuel Rodriguez told EFE.
