Referring to the Iranian readership which is stimulated by this book fair, the Minister of Culture and Islamic Guidance said: “Fortunately, we witnessed that the titles and numbers of published books increased in recent years. There were 64,000 titles published in 2013, with the figure rising to 80,000 titles in 2015 of which 50% were published for the first time.”
