Según el Ministerio de Cultura, un punto de cultura puede llegar a beneficiar de 500 a 3.000 personas en una comunidad al año. Cada punto puede emplear hasta 20 personas en la ejecución de sus actividades. Los 255 puntos de cultura están en 22 regiones del Perú.
