Delegates from Ecuador and Colombia have attended a workshop for the construction of the Satellite Account of Culture.  The purpose of the workshop was to share results, methodology and technical assistance between the two countries. The Culture Satellite Account will be a tool for analysing measurement mechanisms and statistical information in the cultural field, such as the participation of cultural activities in the gross domestic product (GDP), compared to other sectors of the economy, and the definition of a system of monetary and non-monetary indicators.
