On 28 and 29 January, an International Colloquium on the Protection and Promotion of the Diversity of Cultural Expressions was held in Dakar, devoted to the issues of creation, production, distribution and preservation of cultural goods and services in the digital age in Africa, in the presence of the Minister of Culture and Communication. This event, organized by ALFAA (Alliance of Forums for another Africa) and the National Commission of Senegal for UNESCO, was sponsored by UNESCO and hosted representatives from Cameroon, The Gambia, France, Mali and Morocco and many Senegalese experts.
