This plan details what Arts Council England will do internally between 2022-24 to make meaningful, measurable reductions to their carbon footprint.  

The plan follows an organisation-wide environmental review and carbon footprint analysis, and was written with the support of environmental partner, Julie’s Bicycle. It has clear targets, actions and timelines based on six priority areas: people, place, travel, technology, procurement, and pensions. 

Publishing this plan is an Action from the Delivery Plan for 2021-24 of their strategy for 2020-2030, Let’s Create.  

The plan is a live document that will be regularly reviewed and updated.
