Mongolia to host Kazakhstan Cultural Days

Within an official visit to Mongolia in August Head of the State Nursultan Nazarbayev proposed his Mongolian counterpart N.Enkhbayar to hold Days of Mongolia in Kazakhstan and Days of Kazakhstan in Mongolia in order to strengthen cultural ties between the two nations. In related with this issue, Mongolia to host “Days of Kazakhstan Culture” during October 2-5 2008. Kazakh delegation will be lead by Mr. Mukhtar Kul-Mukhammed, the Minister of Culture and Information.

On October 3, the delegation will present a “Great Steppe’s Heritage” exhibition devoted to the familiarization of Mongolian people with Kazakh’s rich culture and art. A photo-exhibition “Astana” will disclose sight of the Kazakh modern capital to the visitors.

On 2-5, the Mongolian audience will enjoy Kazakh’s Best films such as “Farewell Gulsary”, holder of grand-prix of “Eurasia” V International Festival, “Kek” (Revenge), “Mustafa Shokai” and others.

A concert of masters of Kazakh art will be organized in the Central Palace of Culture in Ulaanbaatar on October 3. “Ak Zhauyn” chamber orchestra, “Ulytau” polular folk instrument trio, “Gulder” State Dancing Ensemble, singers A.Zhorabayeva, A.Balazhanova, M.Shalabayev and M.Kasuganova will perform.

Holding of the Days of Culture is a bright example of developing millennial tradition of culture interaction and interpretation. The events are organized under the patronage of of the Kazakh Ministry of Culture and Information and “Kazak Auenderi” JSC.
