Chair’s Statement 

Writing this introduction in the early summer months of 2020 is a stark reminder, if one is necessary, of the impact that the Covid-19 crisis has had on the arts.

I was appointed Chair of the Arts Council in June 2019 – and over the second half of that year I had the privilege of experiencing all that is good about the different artforms in Ireland.
